The new 2013 study from MIT Sloan management review about digitalization is online. 78% of the respondants (1559 persons in 106 countries) think that achieving a digital transformation is critical. Digital means as well management, business model, not just conversation on plateform, internal or external. There is still a long road.

J’en avais déjà parlé l’année dernière, voyons ce que ce nouvel opus nous apporte au moment où 78% des répondants (1559 personnes dans 106 pays) considèrent que cette transformation est critique. Juste pour mémoire, on parle bien aussi du management, du business model, pas juste converser sur quelques plateformes internes ou externes. Il reste donc du travail.

Many influenceurs of the enterprise 2.0 (as I a part of), seem to give the impression that things could be easy with the right person and the right methodology. Guaranteed success. Of course not, there is not THE methods, and no one can say, ok I am hundred percent sure what it will run. You so many issues like organization culture, management, willing of a real transformation into a social business organization…
So if the social business seems to be an answer to many issues that the enterprise has to deal with, it doesn’t mean that your organization is ready to transform or accept the challenge for many good or bad reasons.
