This idea of being inspired by the marketing, I expressed it during a workshop about social learning and employee engagement in social business process, with an HR audience, during the last Enterprise 2.0 summit. Few years ago, I wouldn’t have said that, but I think it is true, even if the sentence is a little bit provocative. Customers are not identical, as the marketing finally understood, employees either. However, when you look at a roll-out strategy for social business, you have this feeling. No adaptability

Towards social business : dos and don’ts
There is a long time (about three years) I haven’t published this type of article on this blog about dos and don’ts and social business. But when Gartner released a prediction that through 2015, a whopping 80% of social business efforts will fail to achieve their intended benefits, hampered by « inadequate leadership and an overemphasis on technology », back to basics is may be not a bad idea. So here is a  commented list of dos and don’ts.
Collaborative work at the heart of the digitalization of the business
Accenture firm has released a new study on its technologies vision and their impact in 2013 on companies, with the central idea that any business becomes digital. This is not the first time I come back on this issue with some IBM studies, MIT, Sloan Management review, Mc Kinsey … the idea of digitizing the company is increasingly highlighted. But as nothing is worth pedagogy, and pedagogy is also repetition, here are the main points, which are related to the ideas presented in this blog, and not the entire study. I pass on all the tool side, data … (Even if it is interesting, but distant from the editorial line of this blog).
Enterprise 2.0 : Google + vs. Facebook or Competitor of the Enterprise Social Network editors
If you are on Google +, you couldn’t have missed the announcement two weeks ago of the new feature, the communities on Google+. Obviously I receive a lot of invitations to join these communities. Why not, except that they duplicate those already opened by the same people on Linkedin or Facebook (or other members of the group who should be aggrieved not to be the owner). In brief, to much doubloon here. So will Google + Â eventually take the lead and other social networks will face the same fate as MySpace, futur tells. In any case Linkedin would do well to look in the rearview mirror.
Anyway, back to the heart of the post, the competition announced  between Google +  and social networks enterprise editors (it was already my analisys for the launch of Google + last year).
Enterprise 2.0 Expert Talk: Success Factors for Employee Engagement
As you may know, each year stands the Enterprise 2.0 summit (2013 : 21st and 22nd of march, save the date) in Paris, the main european conference on enteprise 2.0. This year to prepare it, Bjoern has the right idea to organize some hangouts with the Enterprise 2.0 / Social Business experts of the summit (#e20s). Yesterday, I was participating to the hangouts about Success factors for Employee Engagement, with Susan Scrupski, Luis Suarez and Greg Lowe.
