As already posted on this blog, share a vision and meaning is a succes factor for a collaborative project for the commitment of  employees. Share a vision, give direction, it often referred to a leader’s vision (it is true that I stand on these issues rather with the CEO or a C-suite Member), but also leadership skills that are essential in the management of project 2.0. What better way to give meaning, to make impression, if it is not through the storytelling.

The stages of development of a community in a team
I often speak about collaboration or community management, but finally I realize that I have never discussed the various stages of development of a team working in a collaborative way. Maybe your teams are already working this way, but generally they have to cross various stages of maturity before succed to be a real community. Everything is a cycle, a process, which often begins again with the end of a project or changes within the team (hopefully you do not start all over again). If you are interested by that topic, just go and check the community maturity model of the community roundtable, a real work of art, more focus about community maturity inside the all organization.
It goes generally through 4 stages: they can be more or less long, you can spare one of course, it remains a model with all that a model has of restrictive.
Enterprise 2.0 : Google + vs. Facebook or Competitor of the Enterprise Social Network editors
If you are on Google +, you couldn’t have missed the announcement two weeks ago of the new feature, the communities on Google+. Obviously I receive a lot of invitations to join these communities. Why not, except that they duplicate those already opened by the same people on Linkedin or Facebook (or other members of the group who should be aggrieved not to be the owner). In brief, to much doubloon here. So will Google + Â eventually take the lead and other social networks will face the same fate as MySpace, futur tells. In any case Linkedin would do well to look in the rearview mirror.
Anyway, back to the heart of the post, the competition announced  between Google +  and social networks enterprise editors (it was already my analisys for the launch of Google + last year).
Management 2.0 : Leadership and Collaboration
Many managers are concerned about their status as part of a collaborative organization. While their role is changing, their behavior will have to evolve as well. Being a manager, does not mean being a leader or to have a leadership attitude. Yet, in the context of a collaborative organization, managers will especially need to show leadership. Ie. move from managerial skills to a position of leadership.
From the e-learning to the social learning
The EU definition of e-learning integrates social learning: « E-learning is the use of emerging Internet technologies, in order to improve learning quality, on one hand by enabling access to resources and services, and on the other hand by distance communication and collaboration »
In reality, e-learning has evolved to asynchronous distance learning (often in instructor-led teaching), with some practical exercises. Given the original definition, if access to resources and services became a reality, sharing is often unilateral and collaboration non-existent.
